Mohanlal’s Hollywood debut

He should not have born here – these are the words that came out from the mouth of Vanaprastham’s French cameraman while he was capturing the acting brilliance of Mohanlal. As an actor, his fame has crossed boundaries. But still, Mohanlal loves to remain within the comparatively small space of Mollywood.

Though he has acted in non-Malayalam films, that is not much.    

Now he is getting ready for his ‘Hollywood sojourn’, according to reports which also add that the ace actor has already signed the call-sheet for the Hollywood film.

The film has been titled Billion Dollar Raja and is a thrilling investigative story based on Wall Street money scam. The story has drawn inspiration from Galleon Group founder Raj Rajaratnam, who is now behind the bars in America for Insider trading fraud.  
India-born Hollywood director Nayan Padrai will make the film. He shot to fame in Hollywood through his debut film When Harry Tries to Marry. He is also a writer and producer; his production company is known as 108 productions.
